SD. El Museo del Ámbar de la Zona Colonial y la Fundación por la Artesanía concluyeron el Campamento de verano 2018, destinado a motivar y formar la generación de relevo en artesanía, con vistas al turismo de la zona colonial.
Jorge Caridad, presidente de Fundarte, dijo que 60 niños y jóvenes fueron formados durante tres semanas en Artes Plásticas, Pintura, Bisutería, y Reciclaje, con el apoyo de instructores profesionales. El campamento se hace gratuitamente cada año.
“Los niños son la parte crucial para el fomento del arte, ya que ellos serán los próximos actores del futuro de los negocios turísticos de la zona, por lo que FUNDARTE capacita para la producción” dijo Caridad en el cierre del campamento, en las ruinas de San Francisco.

Consideró que por las artesanías estos niños y jovencitos podrán en el futuro incorporarse en la actividad turística de la Zona Colonial. El campamento fue respaldado por Pinturas Popular, Alarmas AAA y Turinter.
